Meet Sunday Sophisticant...Chervy

Introduction

My name is Chervy Lesure.  I love singing, online shopping, and reading. I am the proud mother of two young adults… Zoser, 21 and Zilmillia, 20.

How long have you been natural?

I have been natural for 12 years. Nine years ago I decided to get the Sisterlock system.  I enjoy natural styles and sisterlocks equally, I just prefer sisterlocks because of my busy work schedule.

Regimen & Favorite Products

I have no special products that I use on my hair, I just make sure my hair stays clean and groomed. My children have also preferred the sister/brother locks as their choice for their natural hair.

Tips!!!!

I have been in the hair business since 1987 and have worked in several salons around the Lee/Itawamba/Chickasaw areas. Working as a cosmetologist opened the door to work with several different types of cultures of hair. I quickly learned that I had a deep passion for hair care. In 2005 I completed Sisterlock training and in 2009 I was certified as a Sisterlock Consultant. For some people their natural hair is just a fad for this season but for others it a new way of life. I am thankful to have a broad enough background to help whoever may need my services.

As the Co-owner of Crown and Glory Hair Salon, our motto is live like you are wearing an invisible crown. Every day we get to help and witness clients’ transition from chemical treated hair to natural hair and has given me great joy and a new respect for the profession of hair care.  Crown and Glory is located in Pontotoc County on Blackjack Rd, Tupelo, MS. 662-841-5944.
